Whether you’re just starting out on your yoga journey or whether you’ve practiced for years, hopefully there is something for everyone!
A FLOW FOR EVERYONE
My love affair with yoga began in around 2015, after initially just dipping my toe in with a few classes around Manchester as a method of keeping fit. I was hesitant at first as I have never been particularly strong or flexible, but as soon as I witnessed the difference I felt in my mental wellbeing and to my overall stress levels, those concerns melted away. That is when the practice really clicked for me. I was no longer taking the weight of work and the world home with me. Came for the stretches, stayed for the peace I felt inside.
After a few years of regular practice with some of my favourite teachers, I decided it was time to challenge myself. I felt the urge to share this practice I had grown to love so much. I credit the practice of yoga helping me re-discover some of the confidence I had lost along the way and helping me get out of my own way.
A term for syncing the breath with movement. In these classes we will gradually warm the body up to a flow which will allow for playful and mindful movement, in a flow format, seamlessly moving through postures with the breath. These classes are open to beginners and experienced yogis alike.
A slower, deeper practice, where we hold postures for a longer period, allowing for deeper stretches with the intention of deeply connecting to the body and alleviating tension and stress.
Similar to vinyasa but as the name suggests – at a slower pace! More time to find the variation of the posture that feels right to you and stay connected to your breath.
It’s been a joy to see well-being and mental health being prioritised in the workplace more over recent years. I offer workplace yoga or meditation sessions for staff & employees either in person or online, to suit the way your workplace is set up. The companies I have worked with have reported the sessions to have had a huge impact on the overall wellbeing of employees and staff. I can also offer one off workshops for key calendar dates.
If you’re looking to further your practice, or recovering from an injury, a beginner looking to learn the basics or just looking for a routine that works with your schedule, one to one sessions could be for you. I offer private one to one sessions (or two to one if you’d like to share a session with a friend!) either in person in central Manchester or online. We can look a little bit closer at your personal goals and find a practice that works for you. Prices start at £35 for a 45 minute session.
I welcome everyone in my classes with open arms, whether you’re just starting out on your yoga journey or whether you’ve practiced for years, hopefully there is something for everyone!
